Holocaust Memorial Day 2025
Last night, on 28th January, Cliffe Woods participated in a Holocaust memorial service hosted here at the school. The pupils from Cliffe Woods performed a powerful skit titled ‘A Light in the Attic.’
The event was filled with poignant poems, heartfelt presentations, reflections, and prayers from special guests consisting of 3 of our fellow Trust Schools (Halling Primary School, Stone St Mary’s and Saint Georges CofE School) as well as Sir Joesph Williamson’s Mathematical School, Bradfields Academy, Medway Youth Council, Members from the Chatham Memorial Synagogue, Jabeen Sethi from Medway Inter-Faith Action Forum, DCI Gary Cook from Kent Police and last but not least the Deputy Mayor of Medway, who presented participation certificates.
Well done to everyone who participated, and thank you to everyone who attended the memorable event.
